Jawan is a 2023 Indian Tamil language thriller film written and directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in leading roles, with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Shetty and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by R. Rathnavelu. The film follows a mysterious man named Azad (Khan) who is on a mission to avenge the death of his loved ones. He teams up with a cop (Nayanthara) to take down a powerful criminal (Sethupathi). Jawan is a well made commercial entertainer which has all the elements to please the audience and Shah Rukh Khan fans.
