Jawan is a 2023 Indian Tamil language thriller film written and directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in leading roles, with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Shetty and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by R. Rathnavelu. The film follows a mysterious man named Azad (Khan) who is on a mission to avenge the death of his loved ones. He teams up with a cop (Nayanthara) to take down a powerful criminal (Sethupathi). Jawan is a well made commercial entertainer which has all the elements to please the audience and Shah Rukh Khan fans. There are heart pounding moments, high octane action scenes, electrifying soundtracks and stunning visuals. Khan is in top form and doing double duty with his dual roles. He is both charming and menacing and brings a lot of charisma to the role. Nayanthara is also a good cop and has good chemistry with Khan. However, Sethupathi is the scene stealer with her wicked performance. Both menacing and charismatic, he gives Khan a run for his money.

The film's greatest strength is the action sequences. Well choreographed and visually stunning, they keep the audience on their feet. The film also has a good story and well-developed characters. However, the film drags in some places and the second half is not as strong as the first. All in all, Jawan is a good movie that will surely appeal to thriller fans. It has everything you would expect from a Shah Rukh Khan film including great action, romance and drama. If you are a fan of Khan, you should definitely watch this movie.
